Momentum Growing Against Obama: Make The Internet Tax-Free, Permanently!

Tell Senators:
Pass Internet Tax
Freedom
Act!

Barack Obama and the United Nations dream of the day when they will be able to tax Americans' internet access.

Obama hopes to accomplish this goal before he leaves office so Americans must take action now to stop him.

The House passed the Permanent Internet Tax Freedom Act this summer it is now in the Senate Finance Committee

State and local taxes on your internet access are currently banned by Congress but that ban sunsets every two years. A future Democrat-controlled Congress could simply let the ban expire and then your state or city could immediately begin taxing your internet access. This act makes the ban permanent so Congress does not have to keep re-voting on it.

Why does Obama want to tax the internet?

For several reasons, one of which is that regulation and taxation will allow the Democrats to censor and punish their political opponents for publishing the truth.

The more sinister reason has to do with the U.N. Obama wants control of the internet's domain naming structure, which is currently under American control through a non-profit called ICANN, to be handed over to a U.N. governing body.

According to the Wall Street Journal, if the U.N. gains control of the internet, nations like China and Russia will be able to impose taxes on your internet use and also censor content directly, just as they do in their home countries. This would not only hurt everyday Americans like you and me, but would also give the U.N. an independent cash stream.

This would give the U.N. the one-world-government control it has always wanted -- and the money to back that threat up!

By making the internet tax ban permanent, we are shoring up resistance to future tax attacks on America by the U.N.

The Bible is filled with passages in which the rulers of nations plot against God's people and seek to destroy them. That is what the rulers today in Russia, China, Iran, Cuba and many other nations seek to do and Barack Obama is helping them by setting up the framework to tax the internet.

Psalm 2:2-4 reads, "The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, 'Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us.' He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision." (NPT Bible pg. 608)

Even as Obama, the Ayatollah Khamenei, Vladimir Putin and others plot to give control of the internet away and tax us all to their benefit, we must be planning and acting to thwart them.

This is why the Permanent Internet Tax Freedom Act is so important. This act will send a message that the American people will not stand for new taxes on internet access -- not from Obama or from anyone else!

Dear Chairman Hatch:

I am writing to you in support of the Permanent Internet Tax Freedom Act, HR 235. This act is incredibly popular with the American people and you will have our gratitude if you support and pass this act.

HR 235 takes the current ban on internet access taxes by state and local governments and makes it permanent. It makes no sense for Congress to continue re-voting on this issue every two years because the sentiments of the vast majority of Americans is not going to change:  We do not want our internet access taxed!

It will accomplish two important things if you pass HR 235. First, it will make it more difficult for the FCC to begin imposing taxes on internet access. If Congress has already outlawed state and local taxes on internet access then it establishes the precedent of an unjust policy at the federal level. In other words, it will give the private sector more standing to challenge the FCC in court when -- not if, but WHEN -- it begins attempting to impose access taxes.

Furthermore as I am sure you are aware, the Obama regime wants to give up internet governance which is currently conducted by ICANN and turn control of the web over to a United Nations body. The Wall Street Journal reports that China, Russia and other nations are anxious for this to happen so they can begin taxing and censoring internet access in America. By making the internet tax ban permanent, you will be sending a message to the world that Americans do not want control of our internet handed over to communists and Muslim terrorist-training countries.

I urge you to vote to pass the Permanent Internet Tax Freedom Act as soon as possible! An overwhelming number of Americans support this bill and you should too!
