TELL CONGRESS TO STOP
According to Rep. Dave Jolly (R-FL), your Representative and Senators spend up to four hours every day in a telemarketing "call suite" at their national party headquarters dialing donors for cash... instead of doing their jobs!
This is an outrageous ripoff because they are on the clock for YOU during this time and being paid an average of $174,000 per year salary, and instead they are raising funds to pay their "dues" to the national Republican and Democrat parties.
Send FaxGrams to Congress right now and demand passage of the "Stop Act" (HR 4443) to ban Congress from telemarketing during their work hours!
Congressman Jolly says that when he was first elected in 2014, House Speaker John Boehner pulled him aside and informed him that he must raise $18,000 a day -- every day -- for the Republican National Committee if he wanted to have support from the RNC.
Both Democrats and Republicans have telemarketing call centers set up in their respective headquarters near Capitol Hill.
Rep. Jolly says it is a "cult-like boiler room" where Representatives and Senators spend half of every work day on the phones begging lists of donors for cash. In addition, he says that three additional hours of every work are spent talking to lobbyist donors, hosting breakfasts with donors, and other fundraising-related activities.
Jolly says Members of Congress spend SEVEN HOURS of every work day fundraising and only two hours doing their job in committees or on the House or Senate floor.
With an average salary of $174,000 per year, and only working for 111 session calendar days this year, and only working two hours a day... Members of Congress are being paid about $870 an hour for their actual work.
Another way of looking at it is that you pay their salaries so that they can slave away for the national party elites instead of fixing Social Security, fixing our wide-open southern border, repealing Obamacare, stopping ISIL "refugees" from entering the country or any of America's other problems.
The Representatives and Senators participating in this theft are stealing from the people they are supposed to represent and to stop it we need to call them out on this outrageous telemarketing scandal!
Send your FaxGrams to Congress right now and demand passage of the "Stop Act!"
Exodus 20:15 is one of the simplest commandments in the Bible to understand: "You shall not steal."
Yet every single day that Congress is in session, they are spending more than 75% of their work day on FUNDRAISING for their parties instead of working for their constituents.
If they are on the clock, they should be working for the American people instead of for the Democrat and Republican party elites!
Send FaxGrams to Congress and tell them to support and pass HR 4443 immediately!
Then, call your Representative and Senators at 202-224-3121 and ask them why they spend SEVEN HOURS of every work day on Capitol Hill engaging in fundraising activities.

Dear Chairman Meadows:
America has a host of issues that need fixing. Social Security is going broke, our southern border is wide open, members of ISIL are sneaking in as "refugees" and killing Americans, we are $100 trillion in debt as a country and our manufacturing sector has been shipped overseas. Yet with all of these problems, most Members of Congress spend more than half of every working session day in a grubby little room at their national party headquarters making telemarketing calls to beg for cash.
Aren't you embarrassed by this? You are an elected Member of Congress, chosen to represent the greatest people in the greatest country on earth, and you have to go sit in a sweaty little box begging for money on the phone for the national political party you belong to. I thought that Representatives and Senators had more dignity than that, but boy was I wrong!
Out here in the real world, when a person has a job and they spend seven hours of every work day doing something else, they get fired! You were not elected by the American people to go sit in a sweaty little box raising money for the Republican National Committee or the Democrat National Committee. You were elected to serve your constituents. There is no excuse for this.
I demand that you support and pass HR 4443, also known as the "Stop Act." This would be a great way to restore your own dignity. You could then take all of that energy that you expend in the national party telemarketing sweatshop and put that energy into DOING YOUR JOB! You should know that every hour that you spend in that grubby little telemarketing box, you are stealing from me and my children and grandchildren. Pass the Stop Act and get back to work doing your real job!
