PAUL RYAN CLAIMS PUERTO RICO BAILOUT IS NOT A BAILOUT!

NO PUERTO RICO BAILOUT:
TELL CONGRESS TO STOP
THROWING AWAY OUR MONEY!

Congress is preparing a bailout package (HR 4900) for the debt-ridden island of Puerto Rico which just paid all government workers bonuses before missing its latest loan payment.

House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) actually has the audacity to claim that that bailout package is not a bailout! See for yourself in today's video:

Click HERE to read the latest version of HR 4900, the Puerto Rico Bailout Bill!

NOTE: The Puerto Rico bailout bill is being worked on by bankers and politicians behind closed doors, IN SECRET, so the linked version above is not the final version that will be voted on.

Our belief is that no bailout should be given.

Did George W. Bush's TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Program) bailouts work for America?

Did Obama's "stimulus package" bailout work for America?

Did the auto industry bailout work?

NO! In all of the above cases the banks and the public sector labor unions ran away with your tax dollars, leaving America poorer and the people who caused the debt insolvency problems to get richer!

Therefore, we have to stop the Puerto Rico bailout because it will have the same effect!

Use the form to the right to send your FaxGrams to Congress right now, starting with the House Natural Resources Committee which is rewriting the Puerto Rico bailout bill right now!

Deuteronomy 15:6 says that "The Lord your God will bless you just as He promised you; and you shall lend unto many nations, but you shall not borrow."

Proverbs 22:7 also comes to mind: "The borrower is a servant to the lender."

If we reward Puerto Rico with a financial bailout it will only lead to liberal cities and states in America pulling the same stunt: Pay off the public sector labor unions and politicians, then declare bankruptcy and send YOUR FAMILY the bill!

No more! Tell Congress to reject the Puerto Rico bailout NOW!

Dear Chairman Bishop:

It looks like Congress is ready to repeat the same mistakes that caused the modern Tea Party to form in America. Politicians are meeting behind closed doors with bankers to write a Puerto Rico bailout package (HR 4900). I certainly feel sympathy for the taxpayers in Puerto Rico, but the island's fiscal problems stem from liberal-socialist politicians who spent beyond their means and now are coming to the rest of us with their hand out.

If you make the stupid mistake of bailing out Puerto Rico it will have a domino-like effect. Liberal states and cities across the country will pay bonuses to public sector labor unions and then miss their bond payments - just like Puerto Rico did. I guess you can't blame Puerto Rico, because they learned it from Detroit!

Here is some food for thought. How did the TARP bailouts under the Bush administration work out? How about the "shovel-ready jobs" of Obama's stimulus package bailout? What about the auto industry bailout? All of those bailouts cheated the taxpayers out of their wealth so that the big banks would not have to feel the consequences of their risky actions. A Puerto Rico bailout will be no different! And no matter what House Speaker Paul Ryan says... this IS a bailout!

I demand that you oppose HR 4900. It is a bailout and the American people are sick and tired of bailing out others when the real economy -- the non-government economy -- is struggling. Congressional approval ratings are at all-time historic lows because of bailouts, so what do you suppose another bailout will do to YOUR reelection chances in November? Vote NO on HR 4900!
