62% of All Voters Support President Trump's Immigrant Welfare Ban!

Congress Must Amend
Immigration Law:
No More Handouts for Aliens!

President Trump has been asking for a ban on immigrants receiving cash, food, housing and medical welfare payments for the first five years the newcomers are in the country.

A new Rasmussen poll proves that 62% of American voters support this plan as well - but after weeks of President Trump asking for this sensible and popular reform, Congress has proposed no new legislation.1

Urge the House Judiciary Committee to amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to ban welfare payments to new immigrants for their first five years in the country!

Rasmussen also found that 76% of voters believe an alien should prove they are in the USA legally before they can receive welfare payments from the taxpayers.2

Under current law, an alien is inadmissible to the US if they are "likely to become a public charge" at any time. The word "likely" gives too much wiggle room!

According to the Center for Immigration Studies, households headed by an alien are far more likely to be receiving welfare payments than an American household.

Here are the facts from the Center for Immigration Studies' groundbreaking 2015 research project:3

  • 51% of immigrant households use at least one federal welfare program, compared to 30% of American households.
  • Welfare payments to immigrant households are 41% higher than payments to American welfare recipients ($6,234 per immigrant household vs. $4,431 to Americans).
  • Immigrant households receive 33% more cash assistance, 57% more in food stamps and 44% more in Medicaid dollars than American welfare recipients.
  • Federal welfare payments to immigrant households from Central America and Mexico are 86% higher than payments to American welfare recipients - nearly double!

This is inexcusable. America used to only allow the "best and brightest" into our country - entrepreneurs and skilled workers who wished to pursue the American dream.

Today the floodgates are wide open and 1.5 million aliens are allowed in, and half of them immediately run to the public trough.

2 Thessalonians 3:10 says, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat."

It is morally wrong to allow immigrants into America and then let them immediately start draining the welfare system!

A simple change to the Immigration and Nationality Act would block aliens from collecting welfare and it would cause the Third World migration being spurred by those welfare payments to plummet. This is the right thing to do for the American people!

Tell Congress you support President Trump's 5-year ban on aliens receiving welfare payments today!

Dear Chairman Goodlatte:

President Trump has called for a five-year ban on new immigrants receiving federal welfare payments from the taxpayers. This proposal has widespread support from the American voters and yet Congress has not proposed a single piece of legislation that would do this. The sensible and responsible thing to do for the American people on this issue would be a simple amendment to the Immigration and Nationality Act to impose this five-year ban.

Rasmussent Reports found that 62% of likely American voters - Democrats and Republicans alike - support a minimum five-year wait before new aliens are able to collect welfare payments. The poll found that 72% of middle-class voters support this plan and 61% of moderates support it.

The Center for Immigration Studies published a groundbreaking study of welfare use among immigrant-headed households in 2015. The results of that study show that many immigrants no longer come to America because they wish to pursue the American dream, but because they wish to live off the generosity of the American taxpayers. The study found that:

  • 51% of immigrant households participate in at least one federal welfare program, compared to 30% of American households.
  • Welfare payments to immigrant households are 41% higher than payments to American welfare recipients.
  • Immigrant households receive 33% more cash assistance, 57% more in food stamps and 44% more in Medicaid dollars than American welfare recipients.
  • Households headed by immigrants from Mexico and Central America receive 86% more in welfare payments than American households - nearly double!

Immigrant households are more likely to be on welfare and are likely to collect more in welfare benefits than American households. This is morally wrong and the system is clearly broken, because under current law immigrants are supposed to be inadmissible if they are "likely to become a public charge." Why let these people into the country in the first place if they are unable to care for themselves or their families? America's unsustainable and unaffordable rate of 1.5 million new immigrants per year would plummet if welfare from the American taxpayers was no longer available.

I urge you to support and pass an amendment to the Immigration and Nationality Act so that new immigrants can no longer receive welfare payments for at least five years after entering the country. President Trump and the vast majority of the voters support this plan and so should you!
