Demand Senate Gives America's Thin Blue Line Power to Deport Gang Members

A new report released by the Department of Homeland Security shows 75-percent of convicted terrorists in America were born abroad.

Many of these convicted terrorists come to America through “chain migration,” a program the Trump administration is trying to end.

EXAMPLE:  The  Boston Herald reported on a gruesome case involving MS-13 gang members, featured in our image today, and stated that two members of the MS-13 gang have been charged with murdering a Houston 15-year-old girl as part of a “Satanic” ritual.  Miguel Angel Alvarez-Flores, 22, and Diego Alexander Hernandez-Rivera, 18, were charged with murder and the pair have also been charged in the kidnapping of another girl, 14, who alleged she was held against her will and raped by the gang members for 14 days, according to Fox News.

According to a list maintained by DOJ’s National Security Division, at least 549 individuals were convicted of international terrorism-related charges in U.S. federal courts between September 11, 2001, and December 31, 2016. DHS determined that approximately 73 percent (402 of these 549 individuals) were foreign-born.

The report shows President Trump's efforts to severely limit which individuals come into the U.S. from abroad are badly needed.

We can’t stop terrorist acts already committed, but we CAN and MUST deport those in the country most likely to commit more terror.

We have the perfect tool in HR 3697, “The Criminal Alien Gang Member Removal Act” by Congresswoman Barbara Comstock (R-VA).

The bill would require illegal aliens in the country who have been or become affiliated with gangs be detained and deported. It would ensure gang members are not able to receive immigration benefits, including asylum, special immigrant juvenile status or temporary protected status. Gang membership would become grounds for both deportation and for denying entry at the border. Currently, most gang members are only deported after committing an independent crime.

HR 3697 easily passed the House of Representatives last fall and is now awaiting action in the Senate Judiciary Committee. This is a hopeful sign, as Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, assisted by Ted Cruz of Texas and Mike Lee of Utah has made the committee a strong ally of President Trump’s judicial nominees.

Thus, we urge you to take action now and inform the Senate to pass HR 3697.  Simply provide your contact data, select your program, then edit your Action Letter in the right column (optional) and click SEND.

We are confident they will fight hard for this commons sense legislation, and we will keep the pressure on them to do so. As Congresswoman Comstock says, HR 3697 “allows ICE to remove criminal aliens based on their gang membership and gang related activity, instead of forcing our police to sit back and wait for these criminals to be convicted of specific offenses before taking them off the streets.”

In announcing his support for this legislation President Trump said: “We will defend our country, protect our communities, and put the safety of the American people first.” HR 3697 does just that.

THUS, I urge you into action.  Send word to the Senate - and the House, as well - telling our elected officials to end the delay and pass this most needed Act.

Psalm 2:8 recites, "Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession." At this point in our country's life we must ask Him to preserve our national heritage for without His help, divinely inspired as returns for humbling ourselves before Him, all our world will stay our national heritage.

Dear Senator Heinrich:

Last fiscal year, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) removed more than 2,000 suspected gang members from the country, but only after they were convicted of another crime. All of these 2,000 pose great threat to American citizens and lawful permanent residents.

These two reports show President Trump's efforts to severely limit which individuals come into the U.S. from abroad are badly needed.

Government Track Insider recently wrote, "... [supporters say] the bill is a necessary public safety measure in response to the rise of gangs comprised largely of immigrants. Supporters in particular often reference a primarily-immigrant gang called MS-13, which traces its origins back to the 1980s but has become more prevalent in the U.S. recently, to the point that President Trump mentioned his plans to “eradicate” them in a summer speech.

“In Northern Virginia there have been at least eight brutal murders tied to the transnational MS-13 gang since last November,” House lead sponsor Comstock said in a press release. “That is unacceptable, and this legislation will help get these violent gang members off our streets. MS-13 preys upon and intimidates those who have come to our country to seek a better life.”

That number Comstock cites of eight murders in her home region of northern Virginia appears to be accurate — if not actually an understatement, since the statistic was from May. The numbers are even worse in some other regions, such as at least 17 murders committed by the gang in Long Island.

I urge you to vote for The Criminal Alien Gang Member Removal Act.  It is needed.  The protective procedures set forth in the bill provide more than adequate protections for the rights of those who have a lawful right to be in the United States and confers no rights on illegal alien criminal gang members - and, you know what?

That is exactly the way it should be!

It is time to STOP worrying about illegal alien criminals and START worrying about American citizens and lawful permanent residents!
