Las Vega, NV – President Trump Tweeted to his millions of Twitter followers, “Now it all becomes clear…” that anti-Trump, Hillary-Clinton-supporting DOJ & FBI personnel have been waging a secret war against his administration
House GOP leaders had issued subpoena’s demanding production of documents relating to the Clinton secret closet email server, among other issues, but neither the DOJ nor the FBI had turned over significant documentation, a failure that has rightfully enraged GOP leadership and rank-and-file Members.
We must urge the House Conservative Caucus to take a bold step and fight for contempt charges and no longer just play cat-and-mouse with avowedly anti-Trump forces deep in the DOJ & FBI, all put there in the prior 8 years under the Obama Administration.
America cannot let Democrats burrowed deep within our law-enforcement agencies to thwart justice as has so very clearly emerged in recent weeks. In making the announcement of considering a condemnation, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes R-CA, stated, “The DOJ has now expressed — on a Saturday, just hours after the press reports on Strzok’s dismissal appeared — a sudden willingness to comply with some of the Committee’s long-standing demands,”
Mr. Nunes added. “This attempted 11th-hour accommodation is neither credible nor believable, and in fact is yet another example of the DOJ’s disingenuousness and obstruction.”
Having a Hillary Clinton mole deep within the bowels of justice agencies is as outrageous as sending the “plumbers” into the DNC offices located in the now world-famous Watergate Hotel in DC.
We MUST match the outrage of the Democrats following the Watergate discovery back in the Nixon administration with an even higher level of outrage today.
Syracuse.Com writes that House Republicans are drafting contempt of Congress resolution against Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray, claiming stonewalling in producing material related to the Russia-Trump probes and other matters.
The Washington Times concurred, stating that House Republicans could draft a resolution to hold Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress as soon as Monday for failure to turn over documents sought as part of an intelligence committee investigation.
The Times added that House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes had revealed that, after months of stonewalling on the part of the Justice Department and the FBI, his panel’s efforts to seek access to records related to federal investigators’ use of the salacious Trump dossier compiled by British ex-spy Christopher Steele, had brought progress to a complete standstill.
All of this furor – and assuredly more – comes after the FBI’s special counsel’s office revealed that a high-level FBI agent had released severe anti-Trump internet messages in a series of move highly unbecoming both the agent’s position and the training by FBI authorities.
This out-spoken anti-Trump FBI agent, Peter Strzok, is the same supposed “law enforcer” who led the investigation of Mrs. Clinton’s email server in 2016.
As well, Agent Strzok was kicked off the special counsel’s team last summer because he sent damning anti-Trump text messages to Lisa Page, an FBI lawyer who also left the Mueller investigation this past summer.
While Member Nunes and the GOP ponder what to do the Conservative Caucus surely know what to do: hold everyone in the DOJ and FBI in contempt.
